Ross Halleck founded Halleck, Inc. in 1980 as one of the preeminent branding and marketing services agencies in Silicon Valley. In pursuit of mutual passions, Ross focused the agency on both the high technology and wine industries, with offices in Palo Alto and Sebastopol, CA, Silicon Valley and Sonoma County. Companies such as Beaulieu Vineyards, Opus One, Raymond Vineyards, Beringer, Kendall-Jackson, Ironhorse Vineyards, Cain Vineyards, St. Supery Vineyards, Mumm Napa Valley, HP, Agilent, Sun Microsystems, Netscape, ConAgra, McKesson Corporation, and the United States Government have engaged Halleck to strengthen their communications and brands. In 1993, Ross developed a Pinot Noir vineyard on the Sonoma Coast. His first 2001 vintage was judged the #1 Pinot Noir in the US in the prestigious Pinot Noir Summit. In 2016 alone, Halleck Vineyard won 22 medals in 7 national and international competitions. 16 were Gold. Every wine earned a Gold in at least one event. His 2013 Estate Grown, just last week, earned 95 Points from the prestigious Tasting Panel. Ross’ strategic thinking, creative excellence, and marketing intelligence earned him B to B Magazine’s Top 100 Award for 2001. Halleck is a thought leader in brand strategy, taking the stage in building luxury brands. He has spoken at Brand Innovators, the American Strategic Management Institute, Digital Footprint, CEOSpace, Silicon Valley World Internet Center, The Aspen Institute and The Ahwahnee Hotel Vintners Holidays. Ross was a key contributor in Rod Heisterberg’s breakthrough book, Creating Business Agility, published by Wiley and Associates in 2014.
